Who's The Evilest of Them All?

As you can see from the poll opposite, I'd like to know who you think is the evilest. So here are some really evil people in Othere, and by evil I mean, really, really, evil:

(Note - please look at the History Page if you're confused. I'm going to finish writing about Jotham's Wall soon, no worries. Pictures coming soon. Please take the poll after reading this!)

VIRGINIA LESTCOFF: Was born in Jotham's Wall and was being trained in the art of Black Magic. By the time she was six, she could kill a grown man using thirteen different spells. However, descendants of the Shadowcaster learned Black Magic, but were taught to use their powers for good.

Was captured, along with her family, by the Nalemarians. The Nalemarians thought they were Guardians of the Shrine and nearly tortured them to death looking for answers. After confirming that they were not Guardians after all, they were all separately sold to different places in Calathea. Virginia never saw her parents again.

Eventually became a palace servant and fell in love with Jack Thomas Frost, the third son of the current king. They ran off together to Jotham's Wall and lived there for a few happy years. Virginia first gave birth to Avada, who was a natural when it came to Black Magic.

Then Izabella came along, and Jack Thomas disliked the innocent, Black-less youth. He planned to seal Izabella inside of the Shadowcaster's Chamber, and Avada knew not even Virginia would be able to stop him. So she ran and hid the infant in a tribe near Kraken Creek where - eventually - she would be found by Venezza and brought to the Castle. Avada additionally charmed Jack Thomas into thinking that he had murdered Izabella.

Virginia was furious and nearly killed him, expelling him from Jotham's Wall. Inside of the Shadowcaster's Chamber, she opened a portal to the Fortress and killed all of the Dark Wizards there, except for Nathaniel Slaughter. She claimed the Fortress as her own and freed the slaves in the Slums - but then captured the children there and tried to teach them Black M;T. When many refused, she turned them all into Grimlings - a terrible fate for anyone. Then she set out on getting her revenge - and somehow, getting her daughter back.

AGATHA SWITCH: Being raised by Jack Thomas and all, you can't really blame her for her evilness. The problem is that she's also intelligent - and popular. With her exotic look, silky smooth persuasive voice, and extraordinary powers, she's not an enemy you want to have.

She's a shape shifter, first of all, and utilizes her powers to the fullest extent. So, cunning and skilled in battle. Check.

She's also very good at humiliating certain people, but then seeming completely innocent. Whenever she tortures Mollie at Larrots - whether it's tripping her, calling her names, or laughing at her when she had an empathic fit - all the kids know, but all the grown-ups - except for Violet Namgan, sort of - are completely oblivious. So, way too perfect. Check.

During the second book, when she captures Mollie, her dad gives her permission to torture Mollie as much as she wants. Great, just great - so she takes Mollie's circlet, plays with Golden Ice, sits in her throne, sleeps in her room, and - worst of all - Mollie becomes Agatha's servant, aka slave, so Mollie has to serve her, and whenever she does something wrong, she lashes her with that nasty chain whip, and Mollie has to sleep in the dungeon. Oh, and whenever Agatha has to question her, she puts a "needle" spell on her, so if she doesn't say anything or refuses to say anything or doesn't tell the truth, it feels like a thousand white-hot needles are being pushed into her skin.

So, ruthless and evil? Check.

Agatha likes wearing clothes from her mother's
home country, a desert land far away - as well
as a touch of Calathean and Nalemarian culture.

DARK DIAMOND: Okay, Darky's a little dangerous, but not really. He's mostly a bumbling idiot. He's like the Malfoy of the Othere, I swear - a two-faced bastard, and not as great as he says he is. Oh, and he's also rich, great.

Plus, he massively crushes on Mollie. So when Mollie gets captured, he gets to have a little fun with her - which, I remind you again, is totally gross, because he's her half brother. Yuck.

But not that kind of fun. That would be absolutely way too disgusting. I mean how now he has a lot more opportunities to flirt with her. That's all.

JACK THOMAS: The third son of Jack Adrian Frost, one of the most ruthless kings in Calathean history. The second son was Jack Daniel Frost and the first was Jack Adrian's favorite, Jack Hunter Frost. When Jack Hunter died, Jack Daniel - much to Jack Thomas' disapproval - inherited the throne.

After Jack Thomas married, had kids, and was kicked out of Jotham's wall by Virginia, he returned to the Castle and tried to secure a spot there by sending an assassin by the name of Lisa Losala to kill his brother. The attempt failed, and Jack Daniel, suspecting his brother, sent his brother out to the Palace.

Jack Thomas hated the Palace. It was so silent now that the Slums were empty (thanks to Virginia) and the only noises he heard were not good ones - the sounds of the Rilauk fighting and hunting thrauq got on his nerves. So he made the strategic choice of letting some Rilauk live in the place where the Slums once were, with one little catch - they had to live like Calatheans. Soon he had a whole city swarming around his Palace. All he was missing was someone to love. Well, not love. More like rule alongside with.

And he found that in the sensuous assassin, Lisa Losala. They married, and she became "queen" of the Palace along with him. Afterwards, they had children, Agatha and Darren.

During this time, Jack Thomas did all he could to obliterate the Provinces, and/or to take control of them so he could rule that plot of land and destroy the Rilauk in one shot. He sent his men to raid their villages and crafted a symbol of his own - the lightening bolt on the back of the Serpent of Shadows. And why? Because no matter how ruthless, how heartless this man seemed, he still had a place in his heart for Virginia and her palace in Jotham's Wall. He still loved her - with all of his heart.

THE GRIMLING (LOGAN): It's not really his fault he tried to strangle me (Samantha) to death. Not really. Let's blame Virginia this time.

He was a slave in the Slums when he was freed by Virginia. Amazed though he was at being freed, he disliked Black Magic. Avada took a liking to him and told him to pretend, so that she would not make him into a Grimling. It was true - Logan's fellow slaves were becoming Grimlings because they disobeyed Virginia. So he took Avada's advice - he pretended.

Avada, however, really liked this boy. (And yes, he is kind of hot. Brownish black hair going into his eyes, which were hazel with little gold flecks, tanned skin, a smile that could light up the dark side of the moon - the works.) She wanted to make absolutely sure that Virginia wouldn't turn him into a Grimling. So she charmed her mother into thinking that Logan was the greatest with Black Magic. Which also happened to be a bad move.

Virginia paid special attention to Logan now, and Logan liked pretending less and less, while he liked Avada more and more. One day Logan let his guard down, and he didn't radiate a Black Aura. Virginia, noticing the absence of Black Magic, went poking around to see why, and caught Logan and Avada kissing in Avada's room. Furious, she set upon Logan an Advanced Grimling spell and sent him to strangle me.

So yeah, not really his fault. I just think it's evil that he tried to strangle me. Or more, that he kissed Avada. That's a serious crime. He should seriously be mine. Avada saved him by giving him one of the unicorn hairs that Mollie had. Mollie wasn't very happy about that. She didn't think he was worth it.

I sooo do not look like this all the time. Like, seriously? There's a bow in my hair!
If only there was, like, a pants option. But the shirt and belt are good. And Logan
looks a lot like this, but different than Albert - Albert's got a different skin, and Albert's
hair is flatter. And Logan is hotter. Just sayin...!

JACK ADRIAN FROST: He was massively into slavery. He couldn't enslave the Rilauk, because they were practically enslaved already, but he enslaved immigrants (mainly from Nalemar) gypsies, religious people, Elysium people - anyone who defied him.

He was on a quest to find the Guardians of Vayl's Shrine, because he thought that they would know the way to slaughter/breed the amphitheres - for fighting purposes, because he could make them in gladiators and make them fight, for trading purposes, because amphithere skin, eyes, dung, etc. was very valuable, and just so that he could stop giving "those pesky amphitheres" 10,000 thrauq every year. Luckily, he died before finding the Guardians.
