Characters in Othere

Amalia Frost was born as Irina Lestcoff to Virginia Lestcoff and Jack Thomas Frost. Her sister, Natasha Lestcoff, took Irina away to a river tribe near Kraken Creek when she was still an infant, to protect her. Irina was abandoned by the river people and taken to the Castle by Venezza Frost, the heir to the Calathean throne, and was renamed Amalia, which meant, "Peace is my inner strength." She grew up believing that she had been born to the Frost family.

She looks a lot like a Frost, with the trademark ivory skin and dark hair, although hers is wavy and kept in place by a circlet. She has bright, ocean blue eyes with dark lashes, and a face that can look either snotty or commanding. When she's empathic, her irises turn silver.

As a child, she was eager to learn and reached out to other children, but soon enough she decided to accept her "role" as the true heir and became bossy, prim and proper, and ignorant of her peers. She listened to no one except her teachers, and corrected them constantly anyway. That is the person Sammy saw when she saw Mollie. She didn't see how Mollie was very afraid and lonely on the inside. She didn't see how Mollie was, in fact, kind and caring to animals and especially her wolfdog, Golden Ice.

Now, Mollie has grown into a brilliant tactician and strategist. She is never reckless and always thinks things through. Although she seems unfeeling in making "sacrifices of war" she's always making plans that will work out and protect what matters most in the end.
